Speakers

Mike Bellafiore is the author of "One Good Trade: Inside the Highly Competitive World of Proprietary Trading" and co-founder of SMB Capital, a proprietary trading firm in New York City.  SMB has been recognised for offering an outstanding intraday equities training program.  Mike will share the lessons the market has taught him over the past 15 years, wrapped inside trading stories and his own trades.

SMB Capital regularly appears on CNBC's Fast Money while its training programme has been highlighted on the TV documentary "Wall Street Warriors".  Mike's trading techniques were noted in "The Daily Coach: 101 Lessons for Becoming Your Own Trading Psychologist", written by Dr. Steenbarger.  Mr Bellafiore lectures internationally and was a guest speaker at the 2009, 2010 and 2011 International Traders Expo in New York City.  Mr Bellafiore has written numerous articles for SFO Magazine, most recently about how to turn trading knowledge into skill.


 

Robin Ho is a top tier trader and remisier with PhillipCapital, and is one of Phillip's most active and successful trader.  Hacing been through the peaks and troughs of the volatile markets, Robin is a well-sought after speaker who shares his in-depth trading knowledge with traders and investors at numerous investment seminars.

Robin has taught and mentored thousands of professional traders.  He has developed his own proprietart trading system that focuses on Price Action, which he believes is the answer to the volatile market today.  He believes that many traders fail today because they have been employing long term and traditional indicators to short term trading, and to achieve trading mastery, traders must understand market behaviour and develop a trading strategy that fits the trader's profile.  Learn how to manage your trading risks as he shares his trading strategies and how to apply them practically.

  Joshua Tan is the Equity Strategist at Phillip Securities Research.  He keeps track of the economic outlook, asset price signals and earnings outlooks to give guidance for the larger trend for stocks.  He also makes specific sector/ stock calls for Singapore listed equities.  Joshua graduated with a Master of Science in Economics & Philosophy from the London School of Economics, UK.

As a world-respected Forex educator, Mario Singh has trained thousands of students worldwide on Forex trading, including private bankers from ICBC and Julius Baer. He is also the only Singaporean Forex educator given his own weekly Forex column in the local newspaper My Paper, and is one of the few expert authors for Australia’s YTE blog.

Mario has also appeared more than 35 times on CNBC, and has contributed to top investment magazines like Smart Investor and Your Trading Edge. His other media appearances include ChannelNewsAsia, Personal Money, News Radio, City News, The Straits Times, FXStreet and Your Choice.

  Geoff Howie is the Head of Derivative and Equity Product Sales of Singapore Exchange.  His frontline knowledge of markets and economics is complemented by a Bachelors and Masters degree in Economics, the latter extending into deferred PhD work after receiving the highest grading for research and modeling conducted on the Shanghai economy. More recently, in 2005, he was the winner of two Hong Kong Securities Institute Candidate of the Year awards. Outside the realm of financial markets, Geoff was the Treasury adviser to the Leader of the Queensland Liberal Party in Australia, receiving a commendation in the Parliamentary Hansard for his analytical work in government finances.
